How to get there, where to stay
If you are flying from Dallas, Denver or Phoenix, there are direct flights to Santa Fe's airport (SAF), which is a 15-minute drive from the city's downtown. Avis and Hertz offer car rentals at the airport. The airport offers no taxi service, but Uber and Lyft are available.
If flights to or from Santa Fe (or connections through Dallas, Denver or Phoenix) aren't convenient, there are many more flights available to and from Albuquerque's airport (ABQ), which is about a 60-minute drive from Santa Fe. You can pick up rental cars at the airport's rental center, a five-minute free shuttle from the airport. (You also can pay for a shuttle from the airport to your Santa Fe hotel. Roundtrip cost for one is about $95. Click here for info.) Three Santa Fe hotels are offering special rates for the 2023 Kiva Classic. (Be sure to make your reservation using the links below -- or, in the case of Inn on the Alameda, by calling the hotel directly. If you use another booking service, you won't get the Kiva rates.) Also, book by Oct. 30 (or Nov. 1 for La Posada). The hotels won't hold rooms after their cutoff dates. * INN ON THE ALAMEDA 800-289-2122 $169 per night, plus taxes and fees. Call the hotel directly and ask for the Kiva Club rate. Book by Oct. 30. 303 East Alameda Street, Santa Fe, 87501, just down the street from the Kiva Club. * LA POSADA DE SANTA FE RESORT & SPA 505-986-0000 $142 per night, plus a resort fee and taxes.
